Founder, SunKissed by Kris™

With very fair and pink skin tone, I spent years seeking the ideal, natural-looking tan. I rode out the trends. In the 80s, I applied baby oil, layed in the sun, and hoped not to burn to a crisp before getting tan. In the 90s, the tanning booth reigned supreme, despite it's harmful uv light and it's orange tans. Contending with regular dermatologist appointments and cumulative sun damage, I figured I was never going to be tan. Then in the mid 2000s, I discovered the ideal tanning method. After researching spray-tan solutions and it's amazing affect on skin types, I realized I had stumbled upon a totally safe way to become naturally tan year round. After spray-tanning myself, then friends and family, I was so happy with the results that I wanted to share this amazing invention with other women.

I established SunKissed by Kris™ in 2009 in the California Bay Area as a way to help women feel good about themselves by safely enhancing their natural beauty with spray-tanning. Because client comfort and privacy was as important as quality of service, I built my business as mobile-only, so women could achieve natural-looking tanning in their own home, work place, or special event.

The most rewarding part of SunKissed by Kris™ is meeting so many woman and helping them feel special and look beautiful. Whatever the reason (special event, vacation, that special upcoming date, or just because), a simple 20 minute spray tan application can make all the difference in looking and feeling good.

After eleven years in operation, in March of 2020, I made the difficult decision to relocate SunKissed by Kris™ to the Treasure Valley area of Idaho. It has been a great decision for my family and my business and I am just so blessed to be able to bring the spray-tanning to Meridian, Eagle, and West Boise.
